The Summit Adventure Program will be a significant and unique part of the balance of
learning opportunities we offer for students. Having a heritage of families with hearts
for adventure and experience in Christian camping, we wholeheartedly understand that
once the academic work is done, getting out of the classroom setting is not only a
breath of fresh air, it is invaluable!
SCA Adventures will provide great opportunities for important and memorable experiences
where kids learn to stretch their boundaries of faith, courage and trust. Adventure
events will be another great environment for kids to learn to work as a team,
continue to grow personally and relationally while developing inner character through
the fun, challenge and exhilaration that great adventures out in God’s creation provide.
Summit’s university model approach to education and school calendar are uniquely fitted
to make this type of program a reality for our families. While in early elementary school
years, our new program will primarily consist of:
- Organized adventure events in the local area,
- Cost effective, adventurous field trip opportunities and
- Specialized elective opportunities.
Our adventure program will continue to develop in both offerings and excellence as the
school grows along with the needs of our students and families.
