He answered: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your
strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'"
Luke 10:27 (New International Version)
One important way Summit Christian Academy encourages personal Christian growth is by offering opportunities
for individual students, classes and families to participate and get involved in mission work both in the local
community and internationally via short term missions.
By supporting our school families through mission opportunity offerings, we aim to help families instill compassion,
leadership, confidence in their children as well as encourage their God-given spirit of adventure and personal
knowledge of Scriptures. While ministering to others and sharing an opportunity for those around them to
learn the Truth about the Good News from God’s Word, students will have the opportunity to learn first hand that
life is really "not about me" and to mature their perspective of the world while developing a heart for the things
of God and the needs of others.
Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of
all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey
everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
Matthew 28:18-20 (New International Version)
