Although academic education is our primary venue, we believe that children greatly benefit from real life learning and thrive
when they have an opportunity to experience memorable life adventures first hand. As a result, it is our vision to also offer
excellent opportunities for our students to participate in a full range of character building experiences through

learning fun and transfer both information and understanding effectively to each student in the classroom setting.
Although the Summit Christian Academy team of teachers, staff, administrators and board members will be far from perfect, it is our
desire to demonstrate the "I’m Third" principle and a servant-spirit style of leadership in everything we do. The scripture we base
our guiding operating principle upon is from Matthew 22:37-38:
"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind...and love your neighbor as yourself."
